The Grounded collection represents a connection with nature and the forest that lives within each of us. It includes hoodies, sweatpants, T-shirts, and caps for everyday wear in muted colors. New pieces include a luxurious faux fur coat that combines the comfort of a hoodie with the look of a fur coat, and a versatile reversible jacket for any weather – fleece on one side, windbreaker on the other.

Grounded story

MY INSPIRATION

September 2024

After the very colorful and summery collection called Forever Summer I wanted to create more muted, everyday pieces inspired by nature and the forest. That’s how I started putting together the Grounded inspo board.

GROUNDED HOODIE IDEA

September 12, 2024

The first idea I came up with led to the Grounded hoodie. I wanted to put my own twist on the realtree/camo pattern, drawing inspiration from moss and pine needles in the forest, as well as all the earthy tones. After a few months, the graphic designer and I finally perfected the Grounded pattern, the exact shape of the “distressing” on the hoodie, and that perfect shade of green.

MORE PRODUCTS

October – December 2024

This was followed by the development of other products, where I focused mainly on comfort, simplicity, and quality. The Grounded tee was inspired by the hoodie – when you wear the T-shirt under the hoodie, it looks as if the hoodie is “torn,” with the T-shirt peeking out from underneath.

FINAL PRODUCT SELECTION

Selection of top products – anything that wasn’t perfect didn’t make it to production! Every detail matters. That’s why I, along with my friends and colleagues, test the clothing before it goes into production.

BROWN FOREST SET

I’ve always loved brown. And when the collection finally came where this color fit, I set out to find the perfect espresso-chocolate shade.

GREY FOREST SET

The main symbol of Grounded was undoubtedly the fern – a 360-million-year-old plant (older than the dinosaurs) that can grow up to 20 meters and has survived to this day. The combination with gray turned out perfectly, and we also managed to create an embroidery of the fern with incredibly fine details.

REVERSIBLE JACKET

One of the products I had wanted to create for a long time was a fleece jacket.

To make it more practical, I made it reversible – giving it two designs in one. It has plenty of pockets, a drawstring hood, and is perfect for spring, autumn, and winter!

BROWN FAUX FUR COAT

All autumn, I was trying to find a coat with comfortable material, a good shape, a nice color, realistic fur, affordable price, no shedding, and vegan-friendly. Guess what… I couldn’t find one. After a few days, I thought: “Why don’t I just make it myself?” The idea was born, but the hardest part was still ahead.

Actually creating it. After many attempts, we succeeded, and to this day it remains one of my (and my team’s) favorite products. During the launch, you sold it out, and thanks to such high demand, I was able to restock it for the autumn re-launch at a lower price – 1899! Thank you so much, and I hope it reaches everyone…

BASEBALL HATS 

The last product (which went through a selection process, since I made many – you can see one zip-up hoodie in the photo) was the caps. My first classic bestsellers! I wanted to combine the “Grounded earthy vibe” with a streetwear style, and the distressed caps that complement any outfit were born. I love the handwritten logo combined with the distressed details on the cap.

TRIP TO THE USA

February 2025

Originally, I wanted to shoot the collection in the forests of the Czech Republic, but then a crazy idea came to me: “WHAT IF WE FLEW TO AMERICA?” Áňa and Mona could go during spring break, so I bought the tickets, and within a month, we were on our way. You have no idea what a challenge it was to rent a car at our age… but that’s a story for another time.

We did a road trip from San Francisco through Redwood National Park, Oregon’s beaches and forests, all the way to Seattle, where we returned the car, took a train to Portland, and then flew from Portland to Chicago, from Chicago to Munich, and finally back home.

LAUNCH

March 2025

After the American and studio photoshoots, it was time to revamp the website, edit photos, write descriptions, and handle other behind-the-scenes work. I released vlogs from the USA and started posting sneak peeks on Instagram. Meanwhile, we also moved the entire brand to a new, much larger warehouse. It was a long and challenging process, but on March 21st, the first day of spring, the (so far my biggest) Grounded collection was released. Thank you so much for your support, and I’m glad I’ll be restocking it this fall! (The Grounded hoodie will be restocked soon).
